Ladies, Are You Loving the Most Important Person in Your Life?

In life, there are lots of things that we really love. We love our parents, our friends, our children or our home. And us being females, we are definitely bound to love one way or another some materialistic things like those killer heels (which we bought them just because they look so amazingly gorgeous but deep down we know that we are never going to really wear them ) or even our new mobile phone.

But today, I’m going to ask you a question that may seem weird.

Do you love yourself?

Do you love that person you see every morning in the mirror? In life, we ought to be grateful and thankful to God for each and every thing that He has given. But are you still somehow unhappy with your life now?

The reason may be because you have not learnt to love yourself.

Many people have the assumption that they must first achieve success before that could learn to love themselves and their life. Well, the opposite is actually true. We must first learn to love ourselves before we could achieve success and love the life we are living.

Most Important Reasons to Love Ourselves

We pray five times a day. We fast during Ramadan. Do good. Why? To get closer to God and to deepen our love for Him. But how are we able to love Him fully when we have yet to learn to love ourselves? How are we able to receive his love when we have yet to fill our hearts with love for ourselves? He is always with us. He is in fact closer to us that we could ever try to be closer to Him. This is why we MUST love ourselves in order to receive the power of his love.

Let me give you another reason why you should love yourself.

Imagine there is someone whom you have to spend the rest of your life with. You have to live with this person every minute of your life. This person is the first you see when you wake up and the last when you go to sleep.

This person will be with you during your happy times and your sad times. This person will be with you to share your joy and sorrows. And this person will be with you on every occasion, your birthday, your wedding and even your funeral.

Only this person could give you the motivation and encouragement for you to achieve your goals. To tell you to get up and fight when you fall to your knees. This person is the only one who would never leave and the only one you could depend on.

What would happen to you and your life if you didn’t like this person? Your life would literally be horrible. You’d have to live with this person for the rest of your life whom you didn’t like.

Now, are you able to achieve anything with having to live with this person?

I’m sure by now you would know that this person is YOU!

YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE!

Love in itself is power. Love makes us do powerful things. We go great length to do the best for our loved ones. We studied very hard for our exams because we did not want to disappoint our parents. We give the best for our husband and children.

It is the same concept when you love yourself. When you love yourself, you want the best for yourself. You will want the best relationships, the best career and the best home. You strive hard to achieve success and you will not allow yourself to lead a life that you don’t like. You will not let yourself be stuck in a job that you hated and going nowhere.

In other words, when you love yourself, YOU will put in the very best effort to be the very best YOU.

People will start liking You

When you love yourself, you feel good and confident. You will have the confidence to make friends and be outgoing. You will speak positively about yourself and others. People who feel good about themselves see the goodness in others and give positive encouragements.

Positive energy is very attractive. You will have the charisma and charm. People will start to get attracted to you and admire you. People love being with positive people as they make them feel good about themselves.

I personally am in the process of learning to love myself to achieve the very best of me so that I could offer the very best to the world. If you have read about my life journey, there are many reasons or excuses that could easily afflicted me to hating myself and my life. But life itself is all about choices. I choose to love myself and despite all that I deserve a better life. So do YOU!

So, begin the journey of success and happiness by loving your life first!
